literature analysis questions #1

The book I chose to read was Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand it about a poet and a soldier who both fall in love with the same woman. However Cyrano (poet) is to scared to tell her he loves her because of his huge nose he is insecure about it and Christian (soldier) is handsome but can't express his feelings towards her. So he ask Cyrano for help and Cyrano  lends him a hand he writes letters for him to the woman(Roxane) and teaches him how to write and talk about poetry and Christian helps him how to look good. They become one person then they are sent to war, but before they leave Christian marry Roxane and she falls in love with his words not from looks. During the war Christian dies but Cyrano still sends letters and finally stops and Roxane is sadly when she finds out that Christian dies. Later she figures out that it was Cyrano that wrote to her so she was in love with Cyrano words, but it too late, because a tragedy strikes and Cyrano dies. The theme of the story is that appearances aren't everything you can't judge someone from the way they look. Probably wakes up late to write his plays and to get his show ready from the book the character is always out late and sleeps in a lot. Probably drank tea, because he was from France and he also maybe exercise and mediate since he probably wouldn't do yoga. He was a man so sounds about right that he would do those things and in the book the character was a poet so like to think and want peace and quiet. There is literary techniques use in the book like personification how he describes his nose like an elephant nose. Also allusion are use how they compare themselves to Greek myth. Also foreshadowing some parts on what will happen. it help me better understand the story and made it fun to read making me enjoy and to keep on reading the story.
